Living the Dream
I MET A GIRL
Angie and I started out like any other cook and server, we couldn’t stand each other at first. Somewhere along the way, that changed, and before long, we fell in love. Together, we raised three wonderful daughters, Danielle, Ashley, and Rebecca all while working countless hours, and opposite shifts.
In 2009, I took a position with KBR, serving our soldiers in Iraq. It was during that time that the dream of Pbody’s began to take shape. When I returned home, I was determined to bring that dream to life. Today, Angie and I are proud to partner with the Clarksville Country Club to make it a reality. Angie has an incredible heart for serving others, and I have an unshakable passion for food.
WHO WE ARE
At Pbody’s, our goal is simple: we want every guest to feel like they’re having dinner with loved ones. You’re not just a customer, you’re family. Family has always been the heartbeat of who we are and what we do. My granddaddy Everett used to say, “If hard work would kill you, I’d have been dead long ago,” and he lived to be 93. Our families lived through the Depression, wars, and some of the toughest times imaginable, but they taught us the value of hard work, love, and taking care of each other.
The hardest-working woman I’ve ever met was Angie’s mother, Dessie. I’ll never forget the day she had me help her on a wood truck, I couldn’t wait to get back to the restaurant. That’s when I knew exactly where I belonged.
So when you walk through our doors, we hope you’ll leave your worries outside, pull up a chair at our table, and just like Mammy would say “Whata ya have?”
